Contemporary jeweller based in South East England, (clearly) intrigued by body adornment from a young age.
Townsends innate interest shaped her subsequent path. Studying Fine Art at GCSE and A-level before undertaking a Foundation Diploma focused on 3D design; which allowed Townsend to develop the skills and unique visual language reflected throughout her Jewellery and Silversmithing BA (Hons) practice.
Along the way attending further educational workshops, such as grain setting with Stephen Barnett and enameling with Jessica Turrell to push potentials.
